Optometrist

Dr. Sarah Kim is a board-certified Optometric Physician who has been practicing for 10 years in the tri-state area. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Dr. Kim then went on to receive her doctorate degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her training includes externships in ocular disease specialty at Omni Eye Services of NJ, primary eye care at the Dilorenzo Tricare Health Clinic at the Pentagon, contact lens training at Eye Rx in Washington, D.C., and pediatric eye care at the Eye Institute at PCO.


Dr. Kim makes it a priority to provide individualized attention to each patient and to treat everyone as a member of her own family. She is especially excited to return and practice optometry in her hometown neighborhood as she grew up in Demarest and graduated from Northern Valley Regional Demarest HS. In her free time, she enjoys finding new delicious restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.


As Dr. Debbie Kim transitions toward her full retirement, Dr. Sarah Kim looks forward to continuing to provide her patients with the same level of exceptional care.

Optometrist

Dr. Kim received her Dr. of Optometry degree from the State College of Optometry of SUNY in 1987. She is DPA, TPA, and OM certified and is a member of the American Optometric Association and NJ State Optometric Association. Dr. Kim has been in private practice since 1988 and has taken care of many residents of the Northern Valley Region for over 30 years. Her extensive clinical research experience as a principal investigator of Johnson & Johnson, Vistakon, and Cooper Vision contact lenses since 2009 is also what enables her to provide her patients with the latest technologies available in contact lenses.
